Salary: 25,000PLN to 27,000PLN per month

About The Client:

Our client is a product company focused on building tools that help people work with data more easily in web applications. Their flagship product enables users to view, edit, and manage complex information in a familiar spreadsheet-like format. It’s used by organisations around the world to power data-heavy workflows across a wide range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the last line of defence before release, owning final quality validation and confidence

  • Perform hands-on manual and exploratory testing of every release candidate, treating each as production-ready

  • Validate real-world integration scenarios across React, Angular, and Vue wrappers

  • Design and execute adversarial testing, pushing edge cases and breaking assumptions

  • Build and maintain Playwright test suites for end-to-end and cross-browser coverage

  • Implement and maintain visual regression testing (tool-agnostic: Argos, Percy, etc.)

  • Ensure public API and TypeScript definitions are stable, detecting breaking changes before release

  • Own accessibility (WCAG) end-to-end, including audits, screen reader testing, and compliance validation

  • Validate releases across multiple environments, frameworks, and build tools

  • Test and maintain LTS branches, ensuring backported fixes are reliable

  • Investigate issues deeply and, where appropriate, fix bugs and write tests directly in the codebase

  • Collaborate closely with engineers as a co-owner of quality, not a downstream gate

Essential Experience

  • Experience with visual regression/snapshot testing (Argos, Percy, Chromatic, Applitools, etc.)

  • Strong experience in QA / SDET roles, ideally within JavaScript libraries, developer tools, or component libraries

  • Proven ability in manual and exploratory testing, especially for release validation

  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing (must-have)

  • Solid TypeScript skills (mid-level), with the ability to validate public APIs and detect type regressions

  • Experience testing across modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, Vue), at least at the integration/testing level

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and maintaining test infrastructure

  • Strong understanding of cross-browser and cross-environment testing challenges

  • Demonstrated experience with accessibility (WCAG), including manual testing and audit processes

  • Ability to read, debug, and work within a codebase to investigate issues

  • Ownership mindset, comfortable being accountable for the final product quality

Desirable Experience

  • Experience producing VPAT / ACR documentation for enterprise accessibility compliance

  • Background working on design systems, component libraries, or API-driven products

  • Experience testing across multiple framework wrappers or SDKs

  • Familiarity with Jest or Jasmine for unit/integration testing

  • Experience with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, esbuild)

  • Comfortable using AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) to:

    • investigate bugs

    • write tests

    • improve development efficiency

  • Experience contributing small fixes or test improvements directly to production codebases
