The engineering team is expanding, with a strong focus on automation, data reliability, security, and reducing manual operational processes.
About the role:
Our client is looking for an Automation Engineer to build production automation that retrieves and processes data from healthcare systems where APIs are limited or unavailable.
You will develop unattended workflows across browsers, remote desktops, and virtual environments, securely collecting, validating, and transferring data into cloud platforms. This is an operational automation/RPA role, not QA or test automation.

Implement secure authentication, including MFA, credential management, and access controls.
Maintain automations as applications, systems, and interfaces change.
Replace manual spreadsheet and file-transfer processes with automated workflows.
Implement retries, monitoring, structured logging, recovery, and alerting.
Ensure sensitive healthcare information is processed securely and reliably.
Key Experience:
3+ years building production browser, UI, RPA, or process automation.
Strong Playwright or equivalent browser automation experience.
Experience automating desktop, RDP, or virtual applications without reliable APIs.
Experience building reliable unattended automation.
Strong knowledge of error handling, retries, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
Experience with MFA, secure credentials, RBAC, and IAM.
Experience building file/data workflows involving validation and cloud storage.
Knowledge of schedulers or orchestration tools such as Airflow, cron, Cloud Scheduler, or UiPath Orchestrator.
Experience securely handling sensitive data within healthcare or another regulated industry.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Experience:
EMR/EHR automation experience, including platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, or similar.
