They support professional growth and create a collaborative workplace where fresh ideas and career development are encouraged.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify opportunities for progressive improvement in custom-built PHP systems, even with limited documentation.
  • Manage work effectively in a dynamic environment using Kanban methodology, balancing feature development and reactive bug fixes.

  • Passionate about software craftsmanship, taking pride in the quality and maintainability of their work beyond just submitting pull requests.
  • Working knowledge of Kanban-style project management, comfortable balancing new feature development with bug fixing
  • Background in consultancy environments or client-facing roles, able to confidently represent the company in meetings.
  • Experience working remotely in a structured team setting, with strong remote collaboration practices.
  • Experience maintaining and improving legacy or organically grown PHP systems, with an eye for documentation and progressive refactoring.
  • Ability to handle long-term project commitments, preferring stability and continuous improvement over short-term projects.

Essential Technical Experience:

  • Competence with modern tooling like Docker, Git, PHPStan, PHPUnit, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in MySQL and relational database design, focused on performance.
  • Solid understanding of automated testing practices.

  • Flexible working hours - structure your day your way.
