Role overview:


Our client seeks a detail-driven SDET / QA Specialist to oversee bespoke software projects and ensure quality delivery. You’ll collaborate with clients and developers, manage progress, and rigorously test features. This fully remote role offers the chance to impact custom solutions for major clients, while working with a supportive team.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with developers to resolve ambiguities and clarify specifications.
  • Manage change requests and assess their feasibility within project constraints.
  • Review completed work against specifications to ensure accuracy.
  • Extensively test new features using real-life scenarios to validate functionality.
  • Design test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Identify and document bugs, verify fixes, and ensure the resolution of issues.
  • Provide structured feedback to developers for necessary adjustments.
  • Approve internal sign-offs before user acceptance testing.
  • Document new software changes in the client handbook.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks.

What a Day in This Role Looks Like:


  • Join a morning standup to plan tasks and address any blockers.
  • Discuss and clarify work specifications with the Senior Product Manager.
  • Perform focused testing on new features, documenting and reporting bugs.
  • Update the client handbook with new software features.
  • Plan and size up new work with the team in internal planning sessions.
  • Communicate directly with clients about resolved issues or project updates.
