They are industry leaders in the Kubernetes and Cloud DevSecOps space. They focus on securing the next generation of software systems and provide organisations with a risk-based adoption guide for implementing best practices.


The position:

Our client is seeking a visionary leader to take ownership of the development of their cloud-native security consulting division. This role will focus on expanding their consulting practice, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional client outcomes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud security or DevOps consulting and will play a critical role in shaping the future of our consultancy services.


Responsibilities:


Business Development

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create materials that enhance market presence and support sales initiatives.
  • Encourage consultants to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the client base and strengthening existing relationships.
  • Engage in business development activities, including attending industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.


Client Project Delivery

  • Understand and address the unique needs of diverse, multinational clients, particularly those in heavily regulated industries.
  • Oversee the successful execution of consulting projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, directly engaging in high-impact consulting as needed.


People Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled consultants and engineering managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Implement performance metrics and conduct regular reviews to ensure the team meets and exceeds expectations.
  • Guide the expansion of the consulting team while maintaining the established culture and standards of excellence.


Continuous Improvement

  • Manage team utilization and project resource allocation to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Work closely with the CTO to align the consultancy’s strategy with the broader business objectives
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations in cloud-native technologies and security, ensuring their consultancy remains cutting-edge.
  • Refine internal processes to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.


Essential experience:

  • Proven track record in a senior consulting role with a focus on cloud security or offensive security.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, security practices, and engineering principles.
  • Strong operational expertise, with a history of improving process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
