About Us:

We're seeking a talented Sales Development Consultant to help our client on a freelance basis.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in generating leads from scratch, researching new business opportunities, and making the initial contact with potential clients.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business for our tech conferences
  • Making companies aware of the events so that they might sponsor
  • Making companies aware of the events so that they can send their employees
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects through research, networking, and cold-calling.
  • Understand potential sponsor needs and demonstrate the value of being at our events and in front of our highly skilled and motivated audience.
  • Conduct Business-to-Business calling to generate opportunities.
  • Pre-qualify leads and ensure a seamless handover to the team.
  • Work with our senior team to pitch to potential sponsors.
  • Achieve recruitment lead generation targets and objectives set by the business.
  • Work closely with the team to identify potential prospects.


Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven track record in a similar role, specifically within an event sales or event sponsorship sales domain.
  • 3+ years experience in a Business Development Manager / Sales Development role.
  • Some knowledge of the software engineering/tech industry.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Strong-willed and resilient, with a positive attitude and outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Flexible approach with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
